Original tour dates were sold out with a limit of 60% capacity in venues, this latest announcement will see extra tickets released for all tour dates. Extra capacity tickets are on sale now from www.ticketmaster.ie.
Tickets for original date Saturday 2nd October 2021 are valid for Thursday 3rd February 2021, no exchange necessary.
Niall Breslin has, along with many others, been a leading voice in Ireland pushing for a roadmap for reopening the events industry for many months, calling for clarity as the industry depends more than most on significant future planning and lead times. The short window of time between Government decisions and the events themselves, which would now run at 60% capacity in Ireland due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, meant the tour became impossible to both finance and roll out in a way that was fair to fans.
Announcing the new details of the tour, Niall Breslin said in a statement, “Although it was a difficult decision to re-schedule this tour to February, I’m really looking forward to getting back on the road and returning to a new normality which will include venues returning to 100% audience capacity, a long-awaited step for the Irish events industry! It’s the first time I’m taking the podcast out of the studio to venues across the country and to finally have our listeners as a live audience is certainly going to add to this immersive experience, along with the helping hand of some really great guests we have lined up”.
Ticket holders can hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled dates or obtain a refund at point of purchase. Tour management will continue to monitor the situation and keep ticket holders informed.
